Lady Rangers Roll Past Bison

SHAWNEE, Okla. – Oklahoma Baptist (7-5, 3-3 GAC) fell to Northwestern Oklahoma State (11-1, 6-0 GAC) by a score of 76-49 on Saturday evening inside the Noble Complex.

The Rangers controlled the game from the start, building a 15-8 lead after the first quarter and extending the margin to 34-22 by halftime. Northwestern continued to pull away in the second half, outscoring the Bison 22-11 in the third quarter and sealing the win with a strong finish.

OBU struggled offensively, shooting 29.8 percent from the field and 26.9 percent from three-point range. The Bison were led by Parker Stevenson, who came off the bench to score 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting. Katelyn Davis added nine points, while Faith Wright chipped in seven. OBU's bench contributed 27 points, but the team was limited to 16 points in the paint and eight second-chance points.

Northwestern shot 47 percent overall and hit eight three-pointers. The Rangers dominated the glass with a 54-24 rebounding advantage and converted 22 offensive boards into 22 second-chance points. Kira Bass paced NWOSU with a game-high 22 points and 12 rebounds, while Jaida Shipp added 12 points and seven boards.
