RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Oklahoma Baptist baseball team was picked to finish in eighth place as Great American Conference officials released the results of its preseason coaches' poll on Tuesday.
Arkansas Tech led the preseason voting with 115 votes including six first-place nods. Harding and Southern Arkansas followed in second and third, respectively.
For the Bison, they attained 58 votes.
The 2026 season starts in 18 days for OBU and seventh-year head coach
Chris Cox. The Bison open play in Hot Springs, Ark. against Southwest Baptist on Jan. 31.
