SHAWNEE, Okla. – Oklahoma Baptist (7–7, 3–5 GAC) dropped a heartbreaker to No. 17 Harding (12–2, 6–2 GAC) on Saturday afternoon, 74–72, inside the Noble Complex.
The contest featured two ties and no lead changes, as Harding opened strong and maintained a narrow advantage through the finish. The visitors led 19–14 after the first, 33–26 at half, and 51–49 after three before holding off OBU's late surge in the final minute.
OBU shot 47.4% (27–57) from the floor, 31.8% (7–22) from deep, and a perfect 11–for–11 at the stripe, while Harding finished 43.6% (24–55), 25.0% (4–16) from three, and 81.5% (22–27) at the line. The Bison generated 14 points off turnovers, 32 points in the paint, and 9 second‑chance points, while Harding countered with 19 off turnovers, 34 paint points, and 16 second‑chance points. Bench scoring favored OBU 9–3.
Jaedyn Getman powered OBU with 29 points on 12‑of‑23 shooting (3‑of‑9 3PT) and added four rebounds.
Jordyn Anderson posted 15 points, six assists, and four boards, while
Katelyn Davis contributed 9 points and four rebounds.
Brenna Butler chipped in seven points and eight rebounds across 33 minutes.
Harding was paced by Kori Sanders with 22 points (7‑of‑12 FG; 3‑of‑6 3PT; 5‑of‑6 FT), while Josie Williams and Alli McAda added 17 points each. McAda also pulled down eight boards, and Maddi Holt went 8‑for‑8 at the line to finish with eight. Kennedy Stout tallied seven points and seven rebounds.
