RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist senior
Karsyn Hunter was named the Great American Conference's Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. It is her second career honor.
During last week's two wins over Southern Nazarene and Southwestern Oklahoma State, the Forney, Texas native recorded 42 digs across seven sets, a 6.0 average. Included in that was a career-best performance against SWOSU when she collected 29 digs.
That performance versus the Bulldogs bested a Sept. 6, 2024 effort when she recorded 28 against Washburn.
This fall, Hunter ranks sixth in the GAC with a 4.33 digs-per-set average.
