SHAWNEE – Bison women's soccer head coach
Mike White unveiled his 18-match schedule for the fall on Wednesday. Eight of those contests will come at the OBU Soccer Complex.
"Our 2025 season is well balanced," White said. "We have three games against the Lone Star Conference and three against the MIAA. Both conferences are historically strong in their region. I believe we'll do well in the pre-conference matches, as long as we stay healthy, and that they'll prepare us well for our ninth consecutive conference tournament run."
The season starts Sept. 4 at UT Dallas before a matchup at Angelo State two days later. Over the following week, the green and gold will host Northeastern State (Sept. 10) and Texas Woman's (Sept. 13).
Next on the schedule is a trio of road contests. Those include trips to Joplin to face Missouri Southern on Sept. 17 and to Claremore, Okla. to face Rogers State on Sept. 20. The last of this mini road swing is the Great American Conference opener at Northwestern Oklahoma State on Sept. 24
To close the month of September, rival Southwestern Oklahoma State comes to Shawnee on the 27th.
On the first day of October, the Bison will head to Harding before a Saturday, Oct. 4 home date with Ouachita. A week later, Oct. 11, the Bison will visit East Central in Ada before returning to campus on Oct. 15 against Southern Nazarene.
Over the rest of October, there are four matches: Northwestern (Oct. 18); Harding (Oct. 22); at Ouachita (Oct. 25) and at home versus East Central (Oct. 29).
The regular season concludes with matchups at SNU and SWOSU on Nov. 5 and 8, respectively. GAC Tournament action will begin around Nov. 12. The Bison have made it to the conference tournament final every year (8) since joining the GAC.
