SHAWNEE – Brady Rowland was promoted to full-time assistant coach for the Bison Softball program this week.
This past season, she helped Oklahoma Baptist to a runner-up Great American Conference finish, helped senior centerfielder
Sammie Greene to GAC Player of the Year honors and by season's end, aided the green and gold to a 36-17 record.
Prior to her joining the ranks on Bison Hill, the Platter, Okla., native earned her Bachelor's in kinesiology with concentration in exercise and sports studies from Tarleton State in 2022 before going on to earn her Master's from Tarleton in 2024.
During her playing days for the Tarleton State Texans, she had a career batting average of .293, registered 17 doubles, nine homers and drove in 66. Plus, she left school with a .997 fielding percentage playing as catcher.
