FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Four different Oklahoma Baptist women's track and field members earned NCAA provisional marks during Arkansas' John McDonnell Invite on Friday, April 25.
Jamora Horace notched one of those, earning first place in the high jump. The junior reached 1.75m. Also in the same event,
Jacey Hammon earned a personal-best mark of 1.65m.
Senior
Mary McKey had a steady performance in the 400 hurdles. She crossed in 1:02.07 which was good for sixth overall. OBU's other provisional marks came in the 400 and 800-meter runs.
Asia Foster continued her strong season claiming 11th in the 400 with a qualifying standard time of 54.53. That time was a little more than a tenth of a second from being a PR, too. Then during the 800,
Kimberly McKinney also snagged 11th place with another NCAA mark of 2:10.53. That was also a personal-best for McKinney.
Rounding out the Bison's best efforts,
Anisha Henderson earned fifth in the high jump (5.82m) while
Delaney Riekert finished in 22nd during the 200 (24.52). That was a personal-best time for Riekert.
Furthermore,
Lauren Crouch PR'd in the 800, finishing in 23rd place (2:16.35).
Next on the schedule for OBU is the three-day GAC Outdoor Championships set to start on April 30 in Shawnee.
