BETHANY, Okla. – Bison Baseball starts off the series at SNU with a big win Friday afternoon.
Oklahoma Baptist Baseball takes the first game of the weekend against Southern Nazarene Friday afternoon.
In the series opener, OBU totaled 10 runs on 10 hits with no errors.
Lucas Schaefer led the offensive efforts for the Bison with the only homerun in Game 1. The second baseman for the green and gold finished 2-5 at the plate with a couple RBI and two runs scored. Schaefer also totaled two stolen bases.
Spencer Dickinson also finished the day with two RBI, going 1-5 at the plate.
Keenan Morris led the green and gold with three hits, finishing the day 3-5 with two runs scored and one RBI.
David Stuart (W, 6-5) threw all 9.0 innings for OBU, giving up one earned run on five hits, walking two and striking out four.
Next on the slate for OBU is a doubleheader beginning Sunday at 1 p.m. with the final regular season game to follow.
