NEWTON, Kan. – The Oklahoma Baptist men's track and field team had a few of its members compete at the Bethel College Invite on Saturday, March 22.
In the hammer throw event,
Matthew Werschem took runner-up honors with a throw of 49.62 meters. Teammate
Zavier Freeman followed in third place as he reached 44.70m.
Plus,
Karson Holsapple's 14.82m heave in the shot put was good for fourth place.
There's a few events coming up this week for OBU. On March 26-27 the team will be in Austin at the Texas Relays before hosting the OBU Invitational on March 28-29 at Hurt Memorial Athletic Complex.
