DURANT, Okla. – Bison Women's Basketball dominates Savage Storm with 22-point win over Southeastern Oklahoma State.
Oklahoma Baptist Women's Basketball pulls off a huge 85-63 win over the Savage Storm in enemy territory to conclude the regular season road action.
In fourty minutes of action, the Bison shot 50.9% from the field, totaling 11 three pointers and going 16-21 at the line.
The green and gold tallied 48 bench points, 32 points in the paint, and 18 points off turnovers.
The first quarter ended in favor of the home team as the Savage Storm led by three points at 15-12. The second stanza saw the Bison come to life with 27 points to SE's 13 for a 39-28 lead headed into halftime. In the third frame, Southeastern came back with a big 21-point quarter as OBU totaled 19 points. The fourth quarter saw the Bison shut the door on the Savage Storm with another 27-point quarter as the home team tallied 14, ending the evening in favor of the green and gold at 85-63.
Jaedyn Getman led the offensive efforts for Oklahoma Baptist with 17 points on the evening, earning a double-double. Getman went 7-11 from the field, 1-1 from the three and 2-2 from the line with 10 rebounds and one block.
Katelyn Davis was another big contributor offensively shooting 50% from the field at 5-10 and going 3-7 from the three.
Payten Conde and
Parker Stevenson added onto the total for the Bison as well. Conde went 4-6 from the field and 1-2 from the three with 2-3 shots made from the line.
Stevenson totaled 3-6 shots from the field and went 2-5 from the three, making both free throw attempts.
Mackenzie Crusoe and
Sierra Copeland led the team in steals. Crusoe totaled five on the evening and Copeland added four for the Bison.
