SHAWNEE – Bison Women's Basketball finishes the regular season with 20 wins, going 16-6 in conference play after Senior Night win over ECU.
Oklahoma Baptist Women's Basketball overtook the Tigers of East Central with a late comeback in the final frame of action.
OBU led by six at the end of the first quarter with a 17-11 score. The Tigers held the Bison to a mere two points in the second frame as the visitors put up 14 points for a 25-19 lead headed into the half. East Central came out and continued to take care of business with 19 points in the third to OBU's 17. The final frame saw the Bison find their footing with 25 points, holding the visitors to 11, ending the evening with a 61-55 victory on Senior Night.
OBU shot 30.6% from the field, 32.4% from the line, totaling 11 threes on the evening, and 80% from the free throw line. The Bison compiled 39 bench points, 14 points in the paint, and 11 points off turnovers.
Mackenzie Crusoe totaled 17 points on the evening with two steals, two assists and two rebounds. Crusoe was 6-13 from the field, 2-5 from the three and 3-3 from the line.
Jaedyn Getman and
Katelyn Davis were big competitors from the three, each shooting 50% at 3-6. Getman totaled 14 points on the night at 4-13 from the field and 3-4 from the line. The junior for OBU compiled three assists and eight rebounds. Davis went 3-8 from the field, tacking on one rebound, finishing out the night with nine points.
Allie Rehl led the team with a pair of blocks.
Payten Conde had another good outing at 2-3 from the field, 1-1 from the three, and 2-2 from the line. Conde compiled eight rebounds and two steals, ending the night with seven points.

Kennedy Large,
Mackenzie Crusoe and
Jill Leslie, as they each played their final game in Noble Complex for Bison Women's Basketball.
The win over ECU sees the Bison as the 3-seed headed into post season play. In the opening round of GAC Tournament action, the green and gold will face Northwestern Oklahoma State at 2:15 p.m. in Fort Smith, AR.
