SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist STUNT goes 10-1 in regular season play after the weekend at Southern Nazarene.
OBU STUNT takes down Centenary College, Southern Nazarene and Oklahoma State to finish out the regular season 10-1.
The Bison opened up the weekend action at 9 a.m. on Saturday against Centenary College, ending in a 12-0 win for OBU.
Southern Nazarene was next on the schedule for the green and gold. The Bison secured a 23-0 victory over the host, the Crimson Storm.
In the final game of the day and the regular season, Oklahoma Baptist faced Oklahoma State in a competitive back and forth competition. The Bison took down the Cowgirls of OSU with a 17-14 final on the afternoon.
''Our staff is extremely proud of the grit and growth by our team in the regular season. We had many new athletes step into high pressure roles and progress quickly. The team is looking forward making adjustments and polishing our routines as we head into championship season'', stated Head Coach, Jessica Wolverton.
With wins over all three opponents, the green and gold left the weekend spotless. The lone loss of the season came against the defending Division I National Champions, California Baptist, earlier in the season.
