Bison Rally Past Blossoms in Road Win

MONTICELLO, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist (5-2, 1-0 GAC) battled back in the second half to earn a 68-62 victory over Arkansas-Monticello (5-2, 0-1 GAC) on Thursday night inside Steelman Field House.

The game was tight throughout, featuring nine lead changes and five ties. UAM led for most of the first half and held a 25-15 advantage midway through the second quarter. OBU trailed 49-48 late in the third but surged ahead in the final frame, building its largest lead at 63-53 with 5:59 remaining to secure the win.

OBU shot 41.5 percent from the field and knocked down seven three-pointers while holding the Blossoms to 29.4 percent from deep. The Bison dominated second-chance opportunities, turning 17 offensive rebounds into 15 points, and outscored UAM 32-24 in the paint. Defensively, OBU forced 10 turnovers and converted them into 13 points.

- Jaedyn Getman led the way with 19 points and added 8 rebounds.
- Jordyn Anderson shot a blistering 72.7 percent, going 8-11 from the field with a career-high 18 points.
