Getman, Fox Lead Bison Over Savage Storm

SHAWNEE, Okla. – Oklahoma Baptist (6-4, 2-2 GAC) used a dominant second quarter and clutch shooting down the stretch to secure a 73-60 victory over Southeastern Oklahoma State (3-7, 0-4 GAC) on Saturday evening inside the Noble Complex.

The game featured four ties and one lead change early, but OBU seized control in the second quarter, outscoring the Savage Storm 26-12 to build a 41-24 halftime advantage. Southeastern trimmed the deficit to single digits in the fourth, pulling within 57-61 with 3:19 remaining, but the Bison responded with a 12-3 run to close out the contest.

OBU shot 39.7 percent from the field and knocked down 10 three-pointers while holding Southeastern to 33.8 percent overall and 24 percent from deep. The Bison capitalized on 12 points off turnovers and added 34 points in the paint. Bench production was key, as OBU's reserves contributed 24 points compared to Southeastern's eight.

Jaedyn Getman paced the Bison with a double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Reagan Fox provided a spark off the bench with 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting, including five triples. Brenna Butler and Katelyn Davis chipped in eight points apiece, while Faith Wright added six points and three assists.

For Southeastern, Kenzli Warden led all scorers with 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Tori Kilburn added 17 points and nine boards.
