SHAWNEE -- Oklahoma Baptist hosted Mid-America Christian (NAIA) on Monday night during an exhibition inside the Noble Complex. The Evangels, playing in their third game this season, won 80-60.
Among the key stats, senior
Jaedyn Getman scored a team-high 16 points with four blocks while
Katelyn Davis notched six points and four rebounds.
Aubrey Marjason and
Jordyn Anderson each tallied seven points while
Brianna Jones chipped in with six. Plus, freshman
Brianna Jones scored six and had two steals.
As a team, OBU launched 42 three-pointers, which would have been the second-most in school history if Monday's contest was a regular-season game. Overall, the Bison made 32.9 percent from the field on 24-of-73 shooting.
The Bison were also called for 21 fouls which helped MACU go 26-of-35 at the foul line (74.3%).
Oklahoma Baptist's regular season comes next. On Nov. 14 in Weatherford, the green and gold play Northeastern State at 4 p.m. on the campus of Southwestern Oklahoma State.
