Hanley Named GAC Defensive Player of the Week

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist sophomore Lauren Hanley was voted as the Great American Conference's Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.

It's her first career honor.

Last week in the road match with Harding, the midfielder stopped a last-second shot by HU to help preserve victory for OBU. Plus, she provided the only assist of the match on a goal to Lex Williamson.

Hanley and the rest of the team return to action on Oct. 11 at East Central.
