Eaker, Bison Announce 2025-26 Schedule

SHAWNEE — The Oklahoma Baptist men's basketball team is gearing up for a demanding 2025-26 campaign featuring early tournaments, a balanced mix of home and road tests, and a full Great American Conference schedule.

"We pride ourselves each and every season to challenge ourselves in the non-conference and this year is no exception," Head Coach Jason Eaker said.

"We are playing six in-region games that will provide our team with the feedback needed especially with the varying styles each program offers to compete for championships once again. I absolutely love our team and it's such a privilege to do life with these young men on and off the court. Go Bison!"

The Bison open play Nov. 14-15 in the GAC/NSIC Conference Challenge, playing first against Northern State and the University of Mary inside the Sawyer Center on the campus of Southern Nazarene.

They'll also take part in the Pitt State Classic (Nov. 20-21) with matchups versus Missouri Southern and the host Gorillas before returning home for the OBU Thanksgiving Classic, welcoming Emporia State and Newman on Nov. 28-29.

Conference action begins Dec. 4 at Arkansas-Monticello, followed by a steady rhythm of GAC matchups through February. Key home dates include visits from Southeastern Oklahoma State (Dec. 13), Arkansas Tech (Jan. 8), Southern Nazarene (Jan. 22), and Henderson State (Feb. 19).

The Bison close out the regular season Feb. 28 at home against East Central.

There are three Arkansas road trips: Dec. 4 and 6 at UAM and Southern Arkansas; Jan. 15 and 17 at Ouachita and Henderson State; Feb. 5 and 7 at Harding and Arkansas Tech. Plus, from Feb. 5 through the 14, the Bison will play four straight away from home.

With a challenging non-conference slate and a deep conference field, Eaker's squad will look to build momentum early and contend in the GAC race as the season progresses.
