INDIANAPOLIS – The Oklahoma Baptist University Athletic Department was one of 22 schools and four conferences to be named as a finalist for the 2025 NCAA Division II Award of Excellence.
Each year, Division II honors its members for conducting events that promote student-athletes giving back and serving as leaders within their communities or on their campuses.
OBU, which was chosen as an at-large selection, has been working with Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, the largest provider of private, not-for-profit, residential childcare in the state.
Winners of the award will be announced on Jan. 17 at the 2025 NCAA Convention in Nashville, Tennessee. Be sure to check out the NCAA.org article linked above as well as find out more about how our Bison student-athletes are aiding OBHC.
