BETHANY, Okla. – OBU Women's Basketball drop the Thursday night matchup against the Crimson Storm.
The green and gold felt their third conference loss as a relentless SNU offense outshot the Bison in the final minutes of action, securing a 63-56 win for the home team.
OBU tallied three blocks, three steals and 39 rebounds. The Bison shot 36.7% from the field, 22.2% from the three and 50% from the line.
The end of the opening frame saw a score of 18-a piece and the halftime mark reflection a one possession game as the visitors trailed by three points at 34-31 for SNU. The entirety of the evening saw eight ties and seven lead changes with 18 bench points and 26 points in the paint for the Bison.
Mackenzie Crusoe led OBU with 12 points, three assists, and five rebounds. Crusoe went 5-13 from the field and 2-4 from the line.
Jaedyn Getman contributed to the green and gold efforts with 11 points, going 4-11 from the field, 2-6 from the three and 1-2 from the line.
Sierra Copeland totaled two blocks on the night and went 3-4 from the field with seven rebounds.
The Bison are back in action at home on Saturday for a 5:30 p.m. meeting against Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
