SHAWNEE – The Oklahoma Baptist University athletic communications office comprised of creative director KJ Reid and communications director Clayton Coffman were honored by the College Sports Communicators on Wednesday.
Reid was honored with "Best of Division II" Game Day Graphics while Coffman earned recognition in the Fred Stabley Sr. Writing Contest.
For game day graphics, Reid's Bison football art versus Southwestern Oklahoma State earned second place while his women's hoops graphic leading into the SWOSU matchup earned third.

Coffman's women's soccer article, "
Big Jobs Can Be Smaller Together" was picked as Co-Winner among the College Division General Feature/Blog nominees.
"Our sports information office is awesome," Director of Athletics Robert Davenport said. "KJ and Clayton have poured into our teams since they got here three years ago, and the fruits of their labor are paying off."
Each year, the CSC awards numerous efforts among athletic communications staffs across the country. Those include the honors mentioned above, game notes, hype videos, signing day graphics, photo portfolios and more.
