Spencer Dickinson had some eye-opening numbers last week and, in the process, earned Great American Conference Player of the Week honors on Monday.
The junior third baseman tallied these statistics during the Bison's four games last week: a .529 batting average, 1.294 slugging mark, four home runs, 11 RBI and 22 total bases.
Dickinson posted hits in every game including multiple-base knocks in three of the contests. He started the week going 3-for-5 with a homer and two runs scored during the 13-7 win over Southeastern Oklahoma State.
He followed that up with another 3-for-5 performance with four RBI and four runs against East Central on March 29. A day later, Dickinson had a pair of three-run homers, driving in a season-high six runs in the extra-innings contest vs. ECU.
With his performances, Dickinson moved into sixth place in the GAC with eight homers and seventh in RBI (33).
OBU will return to action on April 2 at 6 p.m. when it hosts Northeastern State.
