DENTON, Texas – Oklahoma Baptist STUNT's performances in its final weekend of the regular season led to a Southwest Conference Championship, the Bison's sixth in a row.
The green and gold defeated Drury, Texas Woman's and Texas-Tyler all by 24-0 counts.
Head Coach
Jessica Stiles stated, "Our team played consistent in all quarters to claim points in every round. Our coaching staff is extremely proud of how this team has gotten better each game."
Speaking of getting better, the three 24-0 wins marked the first time this season that the Bison secured all of a game's points in that many consecutive contests.
"Our freshmen have gotten more confident, and our veterans have stepped up their leadership with every game as well. We now look forward to nationals seeding and will continue to focus on getting a little bit better each week leading up to the national tournament. This team is special, hungry and we can't wait to see what prevails next," Stiles added.
The Division II & III STUNT National Championship will take place on the campus of Missouri Baptist University in Creve Coeur, Mo., from April 26-28.
