RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist senior defender
Olivia Kenas earned Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Central Region accolades over the Thanksgiving break.
She earned placement on the second team in what was her first all-region nod.
The Wichita, Kansas native played in every match for the Bison who played in their eighth consecutive GAC Tournament Final this fall.
She was an All-GAC First Team member, scored four goals and finished with nine points. Plus, she helped the Bison end the year on an eight-match unbeaten streak and became the first GAC player to ever hold GAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors at the same time. That occurred on Oct. 8.
A fabulous defender, Kenas aided the OBU defense to seven shutouts, second-most in the conference.
