SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist will look to remain unbeaten in Great American Conference play when it hosts East Central on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
In last week's matches against Southwestern Oklahoma State and Northwestern, the Bison won 3-2 over the Bulldogs before a hard-fought, 0-0 draw with the Rangers. Coming into Wednesday's matchup with ECU, the green and gold have a dominant series history with the Tigers.
Over 20 D2 matches since 2015, OBU has 14 wins, four ties and just two losses. In fact, OBU hasn't been defeated by its neighbors from Ada since Nov. 2, 2015. That's a span of 17 contests.
Here are notes on both teams as the Bison get ready for their lone match of the week.
OBU Notes:
- Sophomore Hali White was named GAC Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 1. That was her first career honor. She has two goals this season, one off the GAC lead.
- Classmate Lex Williamson ranks fourth in the league in shots per match (2.86).
- Ashley Bell, a junior, has two assists this fall. That is the second-best mark in the GAC.

- In 12 of the Bison's 14 wins over ECU since 2015, the team has scored multiple goals in those matchups against the Tigers.
