SHAWNEE – Hali White's two-goal performance against Southwestern Oklahoma State last week netted her Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors on Tuesday.
For the Norman, Okla., native, it's her first career award.
Oklahoma Baptist's sophomore midfielder scored twice in the second half, including in the final five minutes, to lift the green and gold to a win over its main rival.
Those two scores moved White into second place of the conference in goals scored as well.
The Bison, 2-3-2 overall and 1-0-1 in the GAC, will be back in action on Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. when they host East Central at the OBU Soccer Complex.
