LARCHWOOD, Ia. –
Morgan Becker cracked the top 10 of the NCAA DII Central Regional field following a 1-over-par second round of golf on Tuesday.
Becker ranks as the second-best individual in the competition thus far, totaling a 4-over-par card for a tie at eighth after 36 holes of action.
She shot 1-over-par and sunk a birdie on the front nine before finishing even-par on the back stretch.
The freshman posted the lowest round by a Bison participant since Shannen Stewart shot 1-under-par in the Central Regional tournament in 2018. Stewart finished 18-over-par and in a tie for 23rd, the current best card and finish in OBU history at the NCAA's tournament.
Becker could notch the program's best finish with another solid round in her final 18 holes tomorrow. She tees off at 11:00 a.m.
