PUEBLO, Colo. – A trio of Oklahoma Baptist Bison track and field members –
Flora Dupans,
Jade Byrd and
Alexander Schovanec – participated in the discus throw events on Friday during the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Turning in OBU's best performance was Dupans, a freshman from Argentina. With a throw of 44.42m (145-9), she posted a 14th-place mark to lead the Bison.
A few spots after her was Byrd. Her best effort reached 42.48m (139-4) which slotted her in 18th.
As for Schovanec, he three attempts resulted in three fouls.
That concludes OBU's efforts at the outdoor championships.
