SHAWNEE – The eighth all-time meeting between Oklahoma Baptist and Northeastern State will take place on April 4 when the two teams play at Bobby Cox Field at Ford Park at 5 p.m.

Most recently, the Bison posted a 3-1 record after wins a week ago against Southeastern Oklahoma State and East Central. OBU's offense was sensational in those four games. Among the highlights were a team batting average of .448, 17 doubles, 10 home runs and 66 RBI.

Individually, three players posted slugging percentages of at least 1.250: Dan Pruitt, Alex Schroeder and the GAC Player of the Week, Troy Shields. Plus, an incredible seven players batted at least .450. Shields led that front with a .643 average.

On the mound, Jake Hamilton turned in a standout performance in the series finale against ECU. He tossed six frames, struck out 10, scattered three hits and didn't allow a run. Also of note, Garrett Kellogg-Clarke and Roy Peguero earned relief appearances and didn't allow any earned runs in 3.1 innings pitched.
