Keilahn Harris Signed by Atlanta Falcons

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Former Oklahoma Baptist receiver Keilahn Harris agreed to terms as an undrafted free agent (UDFA) with the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday. He is the first Bison player to sign into the National Football League.

The list of accolades for the Richardson, Texas native is extensive. Harris left OBU with the most receptions (196) and receiving yards (2,510) in school history. The shifty 6-foot receiver also hauled in 26 touchdown passes, second-most all-time, and became just the second OBU receiver to ever record back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.

Last season, Harris ranked seventh in the nation in receptions per game (7.3) and third in the Great American Conference with 1,050 receiving yards. His best game came against nationally-ranked Ouachita on Sept. 1 when he hauled in a career-best 179 yards. That total was the second-best single-game output in program history as well.

During the 2021 campaign, in which the Bison tied for its most wins ever (8) and won its first-ever bowl game, he ranked fourth in the country with 16 receiving touchdowns and 92 catches. His 92 catches were a school record. Harris also twice scored a trio of touchdowns in games against East Central and Southeastern Oklahoma State. Furthermore, he set a single-game record with 15 catches at Ouachita on Sept. 2.

In addition to his standout receiving skills, Harris was a viable threat in the return game. His 716 return yards during the 2022 season were the most ever in a single season. He also attained 1,570 return yards and 4,166 career all-purpose yards, also the most in OBU history.

On top of all the statistical records, Harris garnered All-America accolades the last two seasons. In 2022, he was named to the Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-America Honorable Mention team as well as the D2Football.com Elite 100 First-Team All-America list. Two seasons ago, Harris eared D2CCA Second-Team All-America recognition in addition to Don Hansen's D2 All-America squad.

Harris was also a two-time All-GAC First Team honoree.
