Meiser Paces OBU on Second Day in Hot Springs

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Senior Hayden Meiser shot six spots up the leaderboards after firing a 6-over 78 to lead Oklahoma Baptist on day two of the GAC Championships.

Meiser's exceptional day of golf put her in a tie for sixth, while OBU remained in a tie for fourth, going into the final 18 holes. The Bison shot 318 (+30) as a squad, cutting their strokes by five from Sunday's opening round.

Morgan Becker carded a 7-over 79, a match of her round from Monday, to remain in a tie for 15th. Josie Patterson ranks 28th after shooting an 82 (+10). She sliced her strokes by one with a round that featured three birdies.

Valentina Nunez-Butzonitch climbed three spots after posting a tie for the second-best round on the team. Nunez-Butzonitch's 79 (+7) earned a tie at 31st.

Wrapping up OBU's participants was Karlee Holcomb, who sits in a tie for 37th following a 15-over 87.

Oklahoma Baptist will conclude play at the tournament tomorrow.
