Bison STUNT Roll DBU on Senior Night

SHAWNEE – The Bison STUNT team took their home opener this evening against Dallas Baptist, winning in convincing fashion, 23-3.

Throughout the first quarter and start of second, OBU consecutively scored five points against the Patriots. The Bison held their lead through the entirety of the match and sealed the deal with their well-executed jumps, tumbling and various stunts. With the result, the Bison extended their all-time win streak against the DBU to 4-0.

"Tonight's game against DBU was special because it opened our games on Bison Hill and in Oklahoma for the season," Head Coach Jessica Stiles said.

"But most importantly, we were able to celebrate our incredible 11 seniors together, at home! This senior class has been a very important group in the growth of our young program. Their impact has been felt immensely and they deserve to be celebrated."

Stiles added: "Our team took another step forward tonight towards better team execution and less mistakes across all routines. We are looking forward to tomorrow's games at home against two talented teams in OCU and OSU."

Tomorrow's contests include Oklahoma State at 7 p.m. and immediately following, the Bison will face Oklahoma City.
