RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist freshman
Morgan Becker was named Great American Conference Co-Golfer of the Week for the third time on Wednesday.
Her third weekly honor comes after another fine performance, this time at last weekend's University of Central Oklahoma's Southern Invite.
Becker finished in a tie for 14th place after shooting a seven-over 223 over the course of three rounds. The Southlake, Texas native shot 75 in the first, one-under 71 in the second and 77 in the third.
Against a loaded field, Becker finished ahead of eight nationally-ranked players including two in the top five.
Next on the schedule for Becker and the Bison is the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational hosted by Southern Nazarene on March 6 at the Lincoln Park Golf Course in Oklahoma City.
