SPRING, Texas – The Oklahoma Baptist women's golf team wrapped up play at the Southern Invite with a 12th overall finish after shooting 322 (+34) in the final round as a squad.
Morgan Becker earned the highest finish, placing in a tie for 14th with a closing round five-over 77. Becker's run featured a birdie and the best score of any Bison on the back nine (+3). Furthermore, Becker finished with the fifth lowest stroke average on par 3s of all competitors.
Josie Patterson carded a 10-over 82 for a tie for 41st, adding two birdies to her team-high total of seven. The figure tied with four others for fifth most in the event.
Rylie Spaulding matched her 81 (+9) from round two after posting her lowest score on the front nine. Spaulding cut her strokes by one each day before shooting a two-over 38 today, resulting in a tie at 63rd.
Hayden Meiser also finished tied at 63rd, turning in a third-round 12-over 84.
Lindyn Ross shot 13-over 85 to place 75th overall while
Karlee Holcomb cut her strokes by four to claim 76th with an 82 (+10),
The Bison return to the course in the second week of March at the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational in Oklahoma City, Okla.
