SHAWNEE – Mustang High School standout Ethan Scott has signed with the Oklahoma Baptist men's basketball program, Bison head coach Jason Eaker announced.
The 5-foot, 10-inch guard, is the second signee of the 2022 men's basketball class.
Hailing 52 miles from Shawnee, Scott lit up the basketball scene while in high school. As a Mustang Bronco, he tallied 1,629 career points, made 333 three-pointers, and set several school records. Here is a closer look at Scott's resume:

"Ethan signing with us, first and foremost, has been a long time coming," Eaker said. "We believe he is the best shooter in the state to go along with his toughness and competitiveness. We expect his impact to be immediate".
As a senior at Mustang, he averaged 16.1 ppg while shooting 43 percent from the field. Furthermore, he knocked down 94 three-pointers at a 44 percent rate from range.
Scott is a two-start commit, according to VerbalCommits.com. Additionally, he was a part of NBA star Buddy Hield's AAU team, Buddy Buckets. Last summer, he averaged 15 ppg and shot 45 percent from the arc for the squad.
