Four Bison Earn All-American Recognition at NCAA Championships

PITTSBURG, Kan. – The Bison women's 4x400 relay team of Tizhane Brooks, Taylor James, Mary McKey, and Addison Brooks earned First-Team All-American honors with their finish at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships on Saturday evening.

The squad's time of 3:44.61 was the seventh-best official time of the event, as Lincoln University took top honors in 3:42.03.

Oklahoma Baptist finished second in its heat, .53 mill-seconds slower than first-place Simon Fraser. 

OBU blew their NCAA qualifying time of 3:46.39 out of the water to post their best finish of the indoor season. 

Tonight's event concludes the women's track & field indoor season, as the Bison will look to open the outdoor season at the OBU Invitational on March 25-26.
