SHAWNEE – The Oklahoma Baptist men's and women's indoor track and field teams are set to participate in the 2021 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field National Championships. The national meet is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 10, through Saturday, March 13, in Birmingham, Alabama.

"We are so thrilled to be able to return to the championship meet," said head coach
Ford Mastin. "We were unable to finish the meet last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and are looking to finish strong this year."

Marcus Petersen,
Mary McKey,
Tizhane Brooks,
Brooklynn James,
Taylor James, and
Adeline O'Connor – will participate in this year's championship meet.

Rhoden will run in the 400 meter run which is scheduled for Friday at 2:25 p.m. Rhoden, Coak, Holland, Knauls, and Petersen will then race in the men's 4x400 meter relay on Saturday at 3:20 p.m.

On the women's side, McKey, Brooks,
Brooklynn James,
Taylor James, and O'Connor will run the women's 4x400 meter relay. Start time for that event will be at 7:20 p.m. on Saturday.
