TULSA, Okla. – The Oklahoma Baptist women's soccer team opened up the 2021 campaign with a trip to Tulsa to take on Division I Oral Roberts. OBU was edged out 2-0, but after a tough first half the Bison kept the Golden Eagles to a scoreless second half.
Hannah White led the Bison offense, posting three shots with two of them on goal.
Kaylee Swaner and
Morgan Krispense both finished the game with two shots on goal apiece.
"I thought that under the circumstances and having only been together for just a week that we played well," said Head Coach
Mike White. "I'm excited to see how well we'll play once conference begins."
Up next, the Bison will open up their home slate with a four-game home stand as they welcome Oklahoma Christian on Tuesday, Feb. 2.
