SHAWNEE – The Oklahoma Baptist baseball team returns home to Bobby Cox Field at Ford Park this week as they host Ouachita Baptist in a Great American Conference weekend series. The Bison are 13-5 on the season and sit atop the GAC standings with a 7-2 conference record. Â

Kaimana Bartolome leads the Bison offense with a season batting average of .430 to go along with 32 RBIs. He currently ranks eighth in the nation in RBI per game, and ninth in doubles per game.
Colin Prince and
Joey Pledger are tied for second on the team with 17 RBIs each.Â

Ouachita Baptist comes into the contest with an 8-10 record, including a 4-5 mark in the GAC. The Tigers are on a two-game skid having fallen at home to Southern Nazarene and on the road at Arkansas-Monticello last week.

Tyler Riebock lead the Tigers with 21 runs scored and 23 RBIs.

First pitch of the series is set for Friday, March 6 at 6 p.m., with the teams wrapping up with a Saturday doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m.
