ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Oklahoma Baptist baseball team fell to Northwest Missouri State 9-2 as the Bison closed out the Henderson State Invitational. The Bison finish the invitational having gone 2-1.

Joey Pledger and
Eric Carlson both put up a run apiece.
Kaimana Bartolome led the team with two hits and one RBI.
Ramon Enriquez,
Cliff Pradd, and
Hector Ruvalcaba all put up a hit apiece. Bartolome now leads the Bison with 11 RBIs and 12 hits on the season. He also ties
Eric Carlson and Prince Colin with two home runs on the season.

The Bison took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning when Bartolome hit an RBI double down the left field line batting in Pledger. Unfortunately for OBU, NWMS answered the run and put up three runs in the first inning. The Bearcats then added five more runs before Ruvalcaba hit a single to left field and Carlson made it home on an error by the left fielder in the bottom of the fourth.

The Bsion will return to action Friday, Feb. 14 when they open Great American Conference play, in Durant, against Southeastern Oklahoma State. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
