ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Oklahoma Baptist baseball team now has made it four in a row with yet again another dominate outing. OBU defeated the University of Central Oklahoma 7-2, delivering another well rounded and complete game. The offense continued to soar, and
Raul Rizo and
Caleb Bly deliver yet another world class performance on the mound.

OBU's pitching staff continues to impress as Rizo captured his first win of the season this afternoon. He pitched 5.1 innings and only gave up one earned run on five hits. Bly then came in to relieve Rizo and he didn't miss a beat. Bly pitched for 3.2 innings and gave up no runs and struck out three Broncho batters.

The Bison offense had another strong outing, posting seven runs, 11 RBIs, and seven hits.
Kaimana Bartolome led the offense for the Bison, putting up three runs and batted in two runners. He also posted one of the two Bison home runs.
Joey Pledger scored two runs for OBU, he had 2 hits, and one RBI. He also scored home run, hitting the ball right out of center field.
Ramon Enriquez posted two runs and added an RBI with one hit.
Cliff Pradd also batted in two runners on two hits.

OBU came out firing, putting up three runs in the top of the first. Pledger got on base off a double. Enriquez then hit a RBI single down the left field line, allowing Pledger to score. Bartolome came up to bat and singled to right field which allowed Enriquez to reach third. Carlson followed up Bartolome's hit with an RBI double which sent Enriquez running home. Pradd then capped off the inning hitting a sacrifice fly to right field allowing Bartolome to score.

OBU then added two more runs over the next two innings to bring the score to 5-0. Pledger scored a solo home run in the top of the second, and Bartolome then hit a bomb right out of the center of the park scoring the Bison's fifth run. UCO's offense caught a spark in the bottom of the fourth putting up two runs. OBU did not flinch and posted the game sealing sixth and seventh runs in the top of the fifth.

Enriquez opened up the fifth getting on base off of a wild pitch. Bartolome then followed Enriquez at bat and hit a double which allowed Enriquez to score. Pradd rounded out the scoring for the Bison with an RBI double, sending Bartolome home for the game sealing seventh run.

The Bison will look to sweep the HSU invitational when they take on Northwest Missouri State Sunday Feb. 9 with first pitch coming at 1:30 p.m.
