SHAWNEE – The 16
th ranked Oklahoma Baptist baseball team is set to take on Great American Conference foe Henderson State in a weekend series. This will be the second time in the Bison make the trip to Arkadelphia, having participated in the Henderson State Invitational earlier this month. OBU will then cap off the weeks action with a trip to Ada to take on East Central on Tuesday, March 3.
The Bison enter the series with a 11-3 overall record and sits atop the Great American Conference with a 6-0 conference record.
Kaimana Bartolome leads the Bison in multiple categories with 30 RBIs, 20 runs, seven homeruns, and 27 hits.

Ramon Gomez follow Bartolome with seven RBIs each.
Jake Lipetzky leads the Bison pitching staff with an incredible 1.69 ERA. He has an overall record of 3-1. He has struck out 38 batters in 26.2 innings of work.
Henderson State enters the series with a 5-9 record and has gone 2-4 in conference play. However, the Reddies are on a two-game win streak which includes a huge upset of ninth ranked Delta State. Henderson State completed a large comeback after falling behind 6-0.
East Central currently on a four-game win streak taking down Rogers State and a sweeping Southern Nazarene in a weekend series. The Tigers will host Harding in its third weekend conference series before the Bison come into town.
First Pitch in Arkadelphia will come at 3:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28.
