SHAWNEE – Senior pitcher
Jake Lipetzky led his team to a 7-1 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State. The Bison have extended their win streak to five. The Rangers struck first in the top of the third, but the Bison answered and never looked back.

Lipetzky pitched all nine innings and only allowed one run and two hits. He faced 29 batters and struck out nine of them. He pitched 110 pitches and walked no one. On the offensive side four Bison scored the seven runs.
Joey Pledger led the way going 3-3, scoring three runs one of which being a homerun, and posted one RBI.
Ramon Gomez followed Pledger's performance going 2-5, scoring two runs, three RBIs, and posted two doubles.
Kaimana Bartolome and
Cliff Pradd rounded out the scoring for the Bison putting up one a piece.
Eric Carlson put up two RBIs and
Ramon Enriquez posted one RBI.

The Rangers got on the board first, in the third inning, when Tyler Garcia hit a solo homerun out of left field. The Bison then answered back with a homerun of their own when Pledger slammed one out of center field. The Bison then added two runs to their lead in the bottom of the fifth. Pledger opened the inning with a double in center field. After a Pradd strike out Gomez came up to the plate and hit an RBI double which sent Pledger home. Gomez then advanced to third on a pass ball. Enriquez struck out and Bartolome was walked on base. Carlson then hit an RBI single to center field, advancing Bartolome to third and Gomez made it home. This capped off the scoring in the fifth.

In the bottom of the seventh Bartolome led off with a double to right field and Carlson then batted in Bartolome when he doubled to left field. Then in the bottom of the eighth the Bison put up the game sealing three runs. Pledger led off the inning when he singled to center field. Pradd then doubled down the left line advancing Pledger to third. Gomez followed Pledger with a double of his own and batted in both Pradd and Pledger. Gomez made it third on a wild pitch and Enriquez put up the dagger RBI when he hit a sacrifice fly to center field which allowed Gomez to score the seventh run.
