FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Members of the OBU men's and women's track and field teams looked to enhance their chances to qualify for the 2019 NCAA Division II Championships at the Arkansas Twilight held at the Razorbacks' John McDonnell Field Friday evening. Heavy thunderstorms in the area delayed a number of events and forced other to be moved indoors.

Highlighting the meet for OBU was a sweep of the men's and women's 3000 as
Noah Eskew ran a time of 8:50.39 and
Allison Derry posted a 10:09.48.

In the women's 400,
McKae Mitchell's time of 54.16 ranked as the sixth-best in Division II this season.
Logan Huslig ran OBU's top time of the season in the men's 400 hurdles, coming in at 54.44, while
Kaylee Large Crowson set a personal record in the women's 1500 with a time of 4:41.75.

Not to be outdone,
Nathan Crowson also set a PR at the meet, posting a 9:18.41 in the men's 3000m steeplechase.
The OBU men's 4x400 relay team took first place in the event with a time of 3:13.27, just off their mark from last weekend's Drake Relays.

And the Lady Bison went one-two in the women's 400 hurdles with
Leah Molter claiming the title at 1:01.24, just ahead of
JoziRose Mayfield (1:01.31).
