BETHANY, Okla. – The hot-hitting Bison continued their late season power surge with a dominating 16-2 run-rule victory over Southern Nazarene in the rivals' series opener Friday afternoon.

OBU scored early and often against the Crimson Storm, plating four runs in both the first and second innings and five in the third.

Four different Bison homered in the game, led by
Jake Gozzo, who hit a pair of solo shots – one in the third and another in the fifth.

Ramon Enriquez added four RBI of his own for OBU, hitting a triple in the first to help open up the scoring, before adding a three-run home run in the second inning.

During the Bison's current seven-game winning streak they are outscoring opponents 98-24.

AJ Merkel picked up his fourth win of the year on the mound, striking out six in five innings of work before giving way to
Thomas Shroder and
Matthew Wilson in relief.

The teams conclude their series, and their regular season schedules, with a doubleheader tomorrow. First pitch in game one is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Feland Field.
