Men's Track & Field OBU Athletics Communications

Teams Start Strong at OBU Invitational

SHAWNEE – The Oklahoma Baptist track and field teams completed day one of the OBU Invitational Friday with strong performances in a number of events.
 
Julianna Horner won the women's hammer throw with a long toss of 52.4 meters, while teammate Saleem Fadel claimed the men's event title with a throw of 54.7 meters. Isabella Lotz was third in the women's javelin (29.43m).
 
In Friday's multis, Raigan Servanti leads the women's heptathlon standings with 2262 points. Hayden Ashley tops a quartet of OBU athletes atop the men's decathlon with a 3640 total through five events. Andrew Worley is second at 3423, followed by Reid Fellers (3035) and Davey Cleveland (2877).
 
Competition continues Saturday at the Eddie Hurt Jr. Athletics Complex on the OBU campus.
