SHAWNEE – The Oklahoma Baptist track and field teams completed day one of the OBU Invitational Friday with strong performances in a number of events.

Julianna Horner won the women's hammer throw with a long toss of 52.4 meters, while teammate
Saleem Fadel claimed the men's event title with a throw of 54.7 meters.
Isabella Lotz was third in the women's javelin (29.43m).

In Friday's multis, Raigan Servanti leads the women's heptathlon standings with 2262 points.
Hayden Ashley tops a quartet of OBU athletes atop the men's decathlon with a 3640 total through five events.
Andrew Worley is second at 3423, followed by
Reid Fellers (3035) and
Davey Cleveland (2877).
