SHAWNEE – The Bison baseball team's weekend series against league leader Southern Arkansas in Magnolia, Arkansas, has been pushed back due to weather. The teams will play a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon beginning at 2 p.m., and will wrap up their three-game series with a 1 p.m. game Monday.

OBU, currently fourth in the Great American Conference standings at 12-6 in league play, enters the matchup against SAU having won its last five GAC series.

The Bison bats have been hot as of late, as OBU has scored 54 runs over its last five games.
Jake Gozzo is second in the GAC with nine home runs and is third in runs batted in (35), just behind teammate
Ramon Enriquez (38). Gozzo also leads the league in runs scored (35) and total bases (80).

Probable starters for OBU are
AJ Merkel (1-1, 4.06 ERA),
Jesus Chavez (3-1, 4.65 ERA), and
Jake Lipetzky (2-2, 3.35 ERA).

The first-place Muleriders are 19-9 overall and 14-4 in the GAC.
