SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist will play its first makeup game from a spate of re-scheduled contests brought on by unseasonably cold weather earlier this year. The Bison will play Southwestern Oklahoma State University Tuesday in Weatherford. First pitch is set for 2 p.m.
The two teams were originally scheduled to play Feb. 26, but winter weather forced the postponement. The game will not count in the Great American Conference standings for either team. The two in-state rivals will play one more non-conference game April 2 in Shawnee. The three-game conference series is scheduled to begin April 12. The two teams are set to face each other five times in the regular season.

Jesus Chavez.
OBU's top hitter of late has been
Jake Gozzo, who finished the Harding series with a .455 batting average with two home runs and four RBIs.
