Baseball Wins Wild 15-14 Game at Ouachita

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist built a big lead and managed to hold on for a wild 15-14 baseball victory Monday at Ouachita Baptist. The win was the second in the three-game series on the road.

OBU, now 12-9 overall and 8-4 in the Great American Conference, will next play Friday at home against Harding to begin a three-game weekend series.
 
Ramon Enriquez homered for the second time in two days and played a large role in helping the Bison to a 10-0 lead midway through the third. Enriquez finished the day three-for-five with five RBI's and built his season home run total to five.

OBU carried a 13-2 run early only to see Ouachita steadily chip away. The Tigers scored in the third, fourth and seven runs in the fifth to draw even at 14-14 after eight innings.

The Bison won the game in the ninth scoring twice. Eric Carlson doubled to right center scoring Enriquez. Carlson then scored moments later on Kaimana Bartolome's double.

Bly won his first game in four decisions. He threw the last three innings allowed two hits, two runs and struck out one batter.
