PITTSBURG, Kan. – The Oklahoma Baptist women's track team finished 16th at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships with 12 points after two days of competition at the Robert W. Plaster Center in Pittsburg, Kan. The finish was an impressive jump from last year when OBU finished 49th with three points.

Leah Molter was the top scorer for OBU, finishing as the national runner-up in the 60 meter hurdles. Molter's time of 8.39 was just 0.11 seconds off the winning mark of 8:28 by Minnesota-Duluth's Danielle Kohlwey. Molter's second-place finish earned her All-American status by the NCAA.

OBU's 4 x 400 meter relay team of
McKae Mitchell,
JoziRose Mayfield,
Sherine Van Der Westhuizen and
Cameka Witter placed fifth. The quartet's time of 3:41.40 was four seconds off the winning time of 3:37.12.
