SHAWNEE – The Bison crushed the Crusaders of Dallas Christian in a Tuesday evening exhibition matchup, winning 97-52.
McKenzie Cooper led the team with a double-double coming off of 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Overall OBU shot an impressive 67 percent from the field on 39 of 58 shooting. The team also finished with a three-point percentage of 46 percent. In total, 12 Bison got on the score board as
Kalifa Ford was second on the team with 10 points andÂ
Mikayla Shulanberger,
Jaylin Stapleton,
Kaydee Banks, and
Raley Farquhar all finished with nine points.
Charissa Price also chipped in eight points, while
Kinsey Neiderer,
Jacie Engler,
Andreja Peciuraite, and
Madison Chambers contributed six points each.

In the first half OBU hung 50 on Dallas Christian with Cooper leading the way with 13 and Ford adding 10. The Bison shot an impressive 22-32 (69 percent) from the field, and 6-12 (50 percent) from behind the arc. Cooper also led the way with nine rebounds, while Stapleton tallied six assists.

The Bison delivered a strong second half with 47 points scored.
The OBU bench was a major factor throughout the night, scoring 45 points overall.

Up next for the Bison is a road contest in Ada against the Tigers of ECU. The game is set for 1 p.m. tip on Saturday at the Kerr Activites Center as OBU looks to acquire its first win in Great American Conference play.
